To all my bikers…
Make sure when you introduce your friends or newcomers into this world that you tell them the truth… no sugarcoating, no sensationalizing, give them the raw deal… You will lose a lot… This life will give you so much… but the more it gives you, you will notice the more it takes. The more great people you meet, the more great people you will lose. Make sure they understand what they are signing up for, make sure they understand that it may be their own death certificate they are signing. I will never stop riding, I’m too deep in to turn back, but I’ll be damned if I pull anyone in it without giving them a real life understanding of what comes with it… this life is an amazing life… but unforgiving. I wouldn’t trade it, but I know the reality of what it is. Make as many memories as you can and appreciate every moment spent with your 2-wheel family, because there’s a 50/50 chance you may have to bury that person. Tell them that… and if they understand and still want this life… Help them the right way, teach them the right way, and maybe… the moments will continue to add up…
